This week, Microsoft began rolling out Cloud Gaming to Xbox Series X and S, as well as Xbox One. The service will be available first in Norway and 24 other countries, and requires an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription to use it.

On the website, the Xbox team writes that they’re drenched in action after an exciting week celebrating the Xbox’s 20th anniversary, but they have more news to share as they take it one step further toward the goal of bringing games to more people, no matter where they are and how they want to play.
The news is that Xbox Cloud Gaming in beta is finally on Xbox consoles, both current generation and Xbox One. This means that the entire collection can be played in Game Pass directly from the cloud if you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate. Initially, the service will be available to a select group of users in supported regions, while it will gradually be available to more people in the coming weeks.
Save space or try out offers?
The service offers advantages in the form of saving space on your console and easy access to games and demos that you no longer need to download. It is absolutely useful to have the opportunity to try out a game before deciding to allocate tens of gigabytes to store it locally.
If you’re still stuck with the previous generation of Xbox, either voluntarily or as a result of a lack of game consoles and other electronic products, you can take advantage of the new service to stream games that are essentially limited to the new generation. Examples of games below include Recompile, The Medium, and The Riftbreaker.
In early 2022, Microsoft Flight Simulator will also be added to the selection.

In other Xbox news this week, Microsoft made sure to release the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite right out of the blue, as well as ensure backward compatibility with 76 other games. These include Max Payne, Skate 2, and Star Wars Jedi Knight II games.
