Big space, 4×4 and huge performance. This could be the electric car that many Norwegians dream of.

When you stick Audi RS emblems on a car, it’s a lot of fun. Then in the form of massive driving characteristics, first-class performance and plenty of engine sound. This is likely to continue. At least almost.

Four-wheel drive and high performance

The new A6 e-tron concept has a single electric motor on each axle and thus all-wheel drive. The total power is 469 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Less horsepower, but exactly the same torque, as today’s RS6, which by the way has a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine.

In the meantime, the RS6 e-tron will do its best to catch up with the high-performance electric cars that seem to come from rival M division and Mercedes-AMG.

Still a family car

The new RS6 e-tron is expected to match the most powerful car to date, the Audi e-tron GT. A car that delivers a full 590 hp (or 637 hp with “overboost”) and 829 Nm to offset the inevitable extra weight from the larger battery pack.

Rumor has it that we can expect the sprint from 0-100 km/h to disappear in about 3 seconds. So there will be no slowdown in traffic. In addition, there is a lack of information and technical data about the upcoming news.

But the space in the passenger compartment and the luggage compartment should be as large as today’s RS6. In other words, it’s still a true family rocket.
