He usually works as a kitchen manager at Dina’s lighthouse, but recently the Corona pandemic prompted him to work as a canteen manager at the Oslo Concert Hall. Now Frackowiak is looking forward to a less isolated time
– I’ve been mostly with family and not much with friends, so it’s mostly the social part (you miss, diary.). People were created to be with each other, not apart, and that means everything, he says.

But Frakowiak, who has lived in Norway for 21 years, is careful not to immediately drop all inhibitions.

Two others who have found joy in reopening the pub are retirees Kent Oywind (82) from Oslo and Bent (68) from Lillstrom.
