Red politicians have been criticized for being the head of the company behind Steigan.no. He is currently stepping down from the party’s central committee.
– Per-Gunnar Skotåm tells Glascombe that in recent weeks there has been a campaign against Steigan.no and against me, which has begun to damage the party.
Mot Dag AS is the co-owner and chairman of the group that owns the website Skotåm Steigan.no. The website was recently criticized for re-creating the Russian war campaign, and focused on the links between the website and several members of the Red Party.
Skotåm did not accept the website’s Russian propaganda, but said he was resigning from key positions to protect the party.

Thus, he will no longer be a member of the National Board or the International Committee in the party, but he will continue as the elected representative. He is still chairman of the Road Committee on the Northland County Council and chair of the Foske Municipality.
Benedikte Prynseid Hansen, the party’s secretary at Rødt, says the party has begun the process of getting input from the company on how to handle links with Steigan.no.
Rødt’s local team at the center of Trondheim is one of the groups calling for Rødt to sever all ties between politicians and the Internet.
