This year’s Festningen comes at the end of summer, during the first autumn month of the year with the dates September 2 and 3.
The castle, like many other festivals, has been canceled for the past two years. But, this year there will be another party at Christiansen Castle, and in the future new artists will be revealed.

Artists like Dagny, Astrid S, Lars Vaular, Isah, Dutty Dior, and Mayka have been released.
On Friday morning, the festival unveils another Norwegian artist: Chris Holsten.

The singer-songwriter recently excelled about a week ago as a crowd favorite with the song of the year award, for “Smile in Your Own Mirror”, during the 2021 Spellemann Awards. The song “Rhythm, Heartbeat.”
At the end of March, Holsten held two concerts at Byscenen in Trondheim – both sold out.

Headlines ready soon
Rachel Nordtom, director of communications and marketing for the festival, also revealed that one of this year’s headlines will be revealed soon.
– It’s a global address. Ticket sales have really picked up speed. It’s clear people are ready for the summer festival, Nordtom wrote in an email to Trd.by.
