COPENHAGEN / OSLO (VG) Police confirmed Sunday night that they are investigating several Youtube videos after the shooting at Copenhagen’s Field shopping mall.

Police are now working hard to clarify the motive – and whether the suspected perpetrator is alone, something they believe until now.
Police also confirm to Jyllands-Posten That they became aware of four Youtube videos, and that it is part of the investigation.

The young man filming himself does not speak in the videos but music can be heard in the background.
– We are aware of the videos and they are part of our investigation, says Deputy Police Inspector Lars Carlsen Newspaper.
He neither confirmed nor denied whether the man in the video was the 22-year-old Dane who police believe was behind the mass shooting.
It is unknown if the police were notified of the videos in any way prior to the shooting – and if so, what they did.

The motive behind the mass shooting in Copenhagen is not yet known, and police confirmed at a Monday evening news conference that the investigator is broad – and keeping all possibilities open.

In the videos, the young man was wearing clothes similar to those worn by the alleged perpetrator when he was arrested.
The same account also posted four playlists with videos, including titles related to the murders.
Police wrote in a press release Monday evening that they are working on a theory that the 22-year-old acted alone.
