– I had a great time at Stabæk and I apologize that this year’s results were not as expected. I respect the club’s need to make changes now and I am sure Stabæk will do well throughout the fall and will have a bright future ahead, says Kjønø in the press release.

Assistant coaches Hugo Vicente and Peter Bielsvik temporarily take over the coaching duties of Team A.

– He’s gone too fast. They’ll take over for now, then we’ll check the market to see what might be available and appropriate. We’ll see which solution we settle on eventually, says Bjarman of chasing down the coach.

They have not set a date for when a permanent solution will be found.

– We’re pretty sure Petter and Hugo will handle this well, says Bjarmann.
