– We are pleased to be able to open a new hotel at a time when we are seeing good development in the Helsinki area, and the level of activity in our hotels has returned. Scandic Helsinki Hub is an excellent addition to our portfolio of hotels in the capital, says Scandic Finland CEO, Aki Kaihko, in a press release.

Scandic Helsinki Hub offers flexible courses, conference facilities, co-working areas, and for larger and more extravagant gatherings there is, among other things, a room with a 16-meter-high LED wall spanning several levels.

We want to be a place where people from all over the world meet and exchange ideas. We’re opening the opening with an international staff of nearly 100 people, and we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world to this wonderful hotel and exceptional building, says Hotel Manager Outi Hanhijärvi.

As in all Scandic hotels, sustainability played an important role in creating the Scandic Helsinki Hub. The hotel is designated Swan in accordance with Swan’s new requirements, which include strict guidelines for eco-labeled products and chemicals, 100% renewable electricity, no single-use plastics, reduced water consumption, climate-friendly food offerings, and working with food waste.
