There are no green areas in Sweden – Latvia and Germany turn from green to orange

This means that there are no green areas now in Sweden.

The regions of Blekinge, Dalarna, Jönköping, Kalmar, Kronoberg and Västernorland go from green to orange, while Gävleborg and Örebro go from green to red.

At the same time, the regions of Gotland, Halland, Stockholm, Värmland, Västerbotten, Västmanland, Västra Götaland, Skåne and Jämtland were changed from orange to red.

In Denmark, no changes have been made to entry restrictions or quarantine requirements. In Finland, restrictions and requirements are established for two regions, both of which turn from green to orange – Central Ostrobothnia and Eastern Savonia. Länsi-Pohja remains green as the only region in Finland.

At the same time, Latvia and Germany are turning from green to orange. Madeira and Portugal remain in orange, while the Canary Islands, Sardinia and Sicily remain in red. Crete, Crosica, the Ionian Islands and the Balearic Islands remain dark red with requirements for quarantine hotels.

Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are still green. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) still advises against completely nonessential travel to countries outside the European Economic Area/Schengen and the United Kingdom.

All changes are effective from midnight, night until Monday 23 August.
