The signature movement has created a stir

Influencer Samuel Veda (21) has made a name for himself on social media TikTok and photo-sharing service Instagram in recent years.

She has more than 140,000 followers on the sites and the 21-year-old regularly shares little insights from her everyday life with her followers.

Late last summer, he received massive attention when he announced that he would skateboard from Bergen to Oslo to raise money for mental health youth.

The trip took him 19 days and he managed to collect over NOK 340,000 for the organization.

While he has previously done sensational stunts to garner attention for many good causes, now he has also made a name for himself for a slightly odd fight case.

Originally from Asterøy outside Bergen, Veda recently moved to Fredrikstad to be closer to her work network in eastern Norway.

However, it didn’t take long for the 21-year-old to notice that the wooden town lacked the same “facilities” as his hometown in western Norway – and Veda is now working hard to replace what was missing in his hometown. New town.

Europris at Begby doesn’t sell ducks – the young man doesn’t like it – and he has now launched a signature campaign to change the sad situation.

This case was discussed among others Fredrikstad magazine.

To Dagbladet, the influencer says he finds it very sad that it is not possible to raise ducks at his local Europrice, as the chain makes a living by having a variety of products.

Elaborating on this, the 21-year-old says he believes everyone can benefit from having a few ducks around, as he himself believes they help “keep the individual humble”.

– I firmly believe that a duck acts as an anchor in the real world. Duck lovers are generally good people. I have yet to meet an unloving person who loves ducks.

Shared opinion

Veda tells Dogbladet that her followers are somewhat divided on the response to the signature campaign. Some find it unbridled fun, while others are somewhat dull to the edges.

The 21-year-old added that it’s the environmental perspective that not many people are interested in the campaign he’s now pushing.

– I can understand that, but at the same time you have to choose your battles carefully – should you use the mass produced earrings that you throw away or should you buy a solid duck that you can keep for years? I choose the latter. They should carry it in stores first!

Veda insists that she was able to say everything with a little twinkle in her eye, but Europris is quick to point out that if she gets ducks on the shelves now that she knows her arrival time, she’ll empty the entire warehouse.

The store manager at Europris Begby refers Dagbladet to head office, but can confirm that they were in contact with Veda.

– We have been informed about this matter and have spoken to him several times. I think he’s having a lot of fun with it, but Dogbladet said we should consider bringing bath ducks back into range.
