In the affidavit, Special Counsel Robert Schilling also said that Baldwin’s phone “distracted him” during gun training.
“This thoughtless deviation from known standards, practices and protocols directly caused the fatal shooting,” Schilling claimed, adding:

The documents also outline many of the actions that led to the shooting. Among other things, that a support gun was not used during the recording, that the weapons officer left the set in violation of protocol and that prior safety complaints were not dealt with.
Attorneys for Baldwin and Gutierrez Reid intend to fight the case in court, according to the report BBC.
