Just a few weeks after the original series ended, Netflix is confirming that they’re working on a new series about the Pokémon universe.
This appeared during a presentation held by The Pokémon Company on Monday. The series is titled “Pokémon Concierge,” and it will premiere in 2023. The company is working with Netflix, which will have the rights to stream it.

This isn’t the first time that Netflix has flirted with the idea of making more TV shows about Japanese fictional monsters. As early as 2021, many media outlets reported that the streaming giant would be making a series with real actors.
The Pokémon franchise was created in 1996 and quickly became a huge success. The games, movies and TV series have all been embraced all over the world, including Norway.
In 2016, Norwegians – even politicians in the European Parliament – were bitten by a bug when the mobile game “Pokemon Go” was launched.
