Australian actor Peter Hardy has passed away. His brother, Michael, confirmed this in a statement, according to daily Mail.
The actor was 66 years old.

Hardy usually lived in London, but traveled to Perth to greet his mother. He must have been diving when the accident happened, according to a close friend.
“I am devastated to share the news that my brother Peter Hardy passed away suddenly this morning. Rest in peace little brother,” the brother wrote in a statement.
Hardy has had roles in movies like “Chopper,” “Hard Target 2,” and “Chasing Rabbits,” according to IMDb. His first acting role was in 1985, in the TV series ‘A Country Practice’, while his latest is in 2021.
Many of the actor’s friends have taken to social media to honor him after the tragic death, the Daily Mail writes.

“On the morning of March 16th, a dear friend was taken from us. The stunning and beautiful Peter Hardy drowned while snorkeling at South Beach in Perth,” Andy Burns wrote.
“He was an amazing actor, great singer and guitarist, and played drums and saxophone. He loved to entertain on stage as well as in movies on TV.”
Hardy is survived by his girlfriend, Lisa.
