You must help Tex find love

Midsummer’s Eve, June 23, explodes in Telemark. Next, the stage is set for a party with the TV 2 show “Sommerfest i Telemark”, led by presenters Katrin Moholt (49) and Andreas “Tex” Hockland (30).

When TV 2 meets them, they are ready for a promotional recording of the programme, at Lommedalen in Bærum. Haukeland brought his Ferrari for the occasion, which had a personalized “TIXERN” license plate.

Both Moholt and Hawkland say they’re ready to throw a “real party” in a month’s time:

– We have a number of great artists like Staysman, Carina Dahl, Marcus, Martinus, and Sputnik. So we simply promise a real festive atmosphere.

But Moholt will not only be a fellow broadcaster — she will also be the so-called “Winged Woman” of Haukeland.

Moholt ready to take “rolling”

“Sommerfest i Telemark” and “Allsang på grensen”, the latter of which was broadcast last summer, have a lot in common.

And though Moholt misses “Allsang på grensen,” she’s optimistic about a new kind of summer party this year:

– I think it’s fun to take the ‘Allsang’ atmosphere with us even further. But since we only have one broadcast right now, I’m taking an early summer break. It’s the best of both worlds. But in the beginning there’s a whole party, singing and fun in Telemark, says the 49-year-old.

– But the two of you might have slightly different party habits, right?

– I think I’ll be a Staysman here, and you’ll still be Katrin Moholt,’ answers Hawkland, smiling at Moholt.

– The thing is, we both have exactly the same taste when it comes to summer mood. I’m a fan of “Tix” so it works, and I message every time he releases new songs – including Russian! I love Russian songs. For me, it’s a party, Moholt says excitedly.

Hokland is an established “Russian artist,” who became nationally known when he released the much-discussed Russian single “The Sheik” in 2015. The 29-year-old also “rolled” with Russian Several times this year.

– I wanted to take Catherine with me on a tour. I could have taken her to the “brother’s roll” – I said you were my little sister, says Hockland and smiles.

Moholt says she’s never been involved with rolling, but would be happy to join Haukeland if the show was forthcoming:

– I’ve had two kids who were drunk, but I never did!

You will be the “flank” of Hawkland

There is undoubtedly a good atmosphere between the presenters. Hokland began joking about a “relationship” he had with Moholt:

– Is now the time to announce our relationship? Shall we do it now? he asks and smiles at Holt, who is in on the joke.

– Peter and Vendella, come home! he continues laughing.

However, the truth is that Haukeland has been celibate since 2020 and since then he has been very secretive about his private life.

However, he admits that Moholt would have been the perfect “Wings” this summer:

– I know Catherine is the “winged” of all time, he says, before Moholt adds:

– If people have been single for a long time, and I’m with them a lot, it’s as if I’m spreading a little “love dust” around them. I am very good at matching people.

Haukeland believes that it is Moholt’s energy that makes it the perfect “Kirsten’s Gift Knife”.

– Spreading glow on people. You know that once you have a girlfriend, you become more attractive to people. This is also the case when Catherine is around people. Then they come by, he says while Moholt laughs.
