Frederic Medcu and Galatasaray were able to cheer the Turkish Football League title on Tuesday with a 4-1 victory over Ancaragocu.
Fenerbahçe defeated Antalyaspor 2-0, but it trailed by five points from Galatasaray before the two teams met in the final round of the league, after the latter also won on Tuesday.
Frederic Medzjo has played 21 matches for the league champions this season and came off the bench on the pitch when the team did the job away to Ancaragucho. Mauro Icardi scored twice in the win.
Galatasaray became the league champion 23 times. This year’s victory is the first since the 2018/19 season.
Ener Valencia scored the match winner with his 29th league goal of the season as Fenerbahçe beat Antalyaspor on Tuesday. Joshua King was replaced with just over 20 minutes to go.
Fredrik Ulvestad played the entire match as Sivasspor beat Konyaspor 1-0.
