London (Dagbladet): English football club Crystal Palace has made a name for itself with fans.

Former cheerleader Charlotte Duffy has passed away at the age of 37. Fans call themselves The Crystal Girls, writing on Twitter:

“RIP Charlotte Duffy.” Unfortunately, one of the original crystals lost its battle against cancer. She was beautiful inside and out and will be missed by everyone! We send our loving regards to her family.”

Crystal Palace’s official Twitter account wrote:

“Everyone at the club sends their deepest condolences to Charlotte’s friends, family and loved ones.”

Crystal Palace finished 11th in the Premier League this season. Selhurst Park is known as an ancient and classic stadium in England. It can be overwhelming on the strongest of days.
