In May, ØP contacted chairman Svein Erik Nykaas at Torpevannet Feriepark to find out what had happened.
– This has already been resolved, so the notice has been pulled. Nikas explained that it will likely take some time before it is updated on the websites, and confirmed that they intend to continue running the Brunlanes camp site.
Mandatory dissolved
On 15 June, however, an announcement came from the Brønnøysund Register stating that Torpevannet Feriepark AS had been compulsorily disbanded.

The trustee, attorney Ståle Lund Johansen, can say they are trying to get the campsite to continue operating.
– Now we’re trying to find out. After all, there was an operation at the camp site when the dissolution ruling was made. “We’re trying to find a solution that’s as good as possible for those who have room there and the company’s creditors,” says Lund Johansen.
Works for more operations
One of the goals is for the campsite to continue operating.
– We are working now to keep the facility operating during the season. So far, we feel like everyone is cooperating. So we hope and believe that we will find a solution, he continues.
– The hope is that we can sell or transfer the operation to others. The trustee concludes that it is not appropriate for those who have worked there thus far to continue.
