Large parts of northern Norway have a cooler weekend, but it won’t last long. The heat should return, according to the Meteorological Institute. In southern Norway, there is plenty of sun in store this weekend. On Sunday, the temperature will again approach 30 degrees in eastern Norway, according to the meteorological report Twitter shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday.
The brightest weekend of the year
The summer solstice has just passed, and this weekend has the longest days of the year. According to forecasts in Yr.no, Arendal can expect 29 degrees on Saturday, while Lillehammer and Oslo can get a maximum temperature of 28 degrees on Sunday. Nesbin in the county of Vicken, which usually records some of the highest temperatures of the summer, can also expect 28 degrees on Sunday.

Wildfire danger: yellow and orange danger warning
Parts of Westland County have to be careful because of the dangers of wildfires. Meteorologists issued a yellow warning.
– Although there has been some rain this week, it is still dry in many places. The weekend will also be dry, forecasters wrote, apart from the possibility of local rain on Sunday afternoon.
