One of the participants in this year’s “Sommerhytta” Heidi Stangort captured the audience’s hearts with her original looks and creative abilities. From being one among many in the battle of building and outfitting the finest booths, she is now a familiar figure in the living rooms of people all over Norway.
But Heidi has more to share than just her creativity and love of cabin building. Recently, I talked about a personal challenge I’ve had since childhood – atopic eczema. This frequent, angry rash had troubled her for many years, and was a concern she carried with her when she entered Sumerhita.

“I was worried about my eczema before filming started. It overrides my self-esteem,” Heidi said. “There were periods when I was really frustrated and really wanted to stay in bed. But I was finally able to accept it instead of hiding.” See and hear.
In May, she finally received a diagnosis of her condition – chronic urticaria;, or hives as they are also called. It is an itchy rash consisting of blisters of various shapes that appear and disappear, often within minutes to a few hours. Large blisters can become pale in the center and thus have a pink ring on the outside.
Despite this challenge, Heidi managed to avoid an outbreak while recording “Summerhita”. “There was heavy rain during that time, and I was lucky there. Wet weather can help,” she said. With swelling, redness, and severe eczema, she didn’t want to have a camera near her. But at the same time, she couldn’t care less about how she looked on TV.

Stanjordir also experienced changes in his personal life. She and her former co-star, Patrick Gertsen Hernes, who also co-starred in “Sommerhytta,” are now going their separate ways. But Heidi revealed that she had found happiness again. “I have a boyfriend, so he’s really cute!” she said in a recent interview with TV 2.
Feedback from the audience was very positive. “Great that you could tell us about this Heidi. You are an amazing person and a very good Sommerhytta!” were among the comments that gushed after she shared her story.
By sharing her story, Heidi Stangordert has shown that love, creativity, and courage can be a powerful combination, and that it is possible to face life’s challenges with strength and dignity. Through her participation in “Sommerhytta” and her personal battle against chronic urticaria, she has become a role model for many.
