It’s been 24 years since the blockbuster “American Pie” first hit big screens around the world. The movie, which revolves around a group of teenage boys, contains a number of iconic scenes.
But not everything that was shown on the screen worked today, we have to believe one of the main roles.
Jason Biggs, 45, Actually Thinks One Scene Couldn’t Have Been Made Now, Writes Dench Extra Magazine.
The scene in question is when Bigg’s character, Jim Levenstein, hides a webcam in student Nadia’s exchange room. Together with his friends, he spies Nadia while she undresses in the room.
Unrecognizable
The three friends film the session, then mistakenly send the video to the entire school.
– This scene can’t be made now. It shouldn’t be made now. It reflects the progress we have made as a society in the nearly 25 years that have passed. It is now unsuitable, says Biggs, who believes the scene should not have been removed.
He also talks about his relationship with the film series today.
– I’m so proud of it, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. It is a gift that keeps on giving.
Married, 13 years old
in the interview Biggs says that if the opportunity arose, he would be very happy to appear in a new “American Pie” movie.
– We have discussed some ideas which I think are very good. I feel like there is a lot of need and it needs to be allowed to happen, I would really like it to work out.
