The album 1989 is Swift’s fifth studio album, released in 2014. Now Swift is re-releasing it after re-recording the songs as part of the “Taylor’s Version” series where Swift reclaims her own music from record labels. .
The album includes popular songs like “Wildest Dreams”, “This Love” and “Shake It Off”, and will be released on October 27th.
The remake of the previous songs comes as a result of the ongoing conflict between Swift and Scooter Braun (42),
The global superstar didn’t own the rights to the songs from her first six albums, as Swift’s music catalog was acquired by music mogul Braun. But last year, I tried to get the rights back to the music — by re-recording it.
