Police in Las Vegas, United States, have arrested a man suspected of killing rapper Tupac in 1996, Reuters reports.

according to news agency It must be Duane “Keffe D” Davis who was arrested Friday morning. It was not clear exactly what the charges were against him.
– He ordered the killing of Tupac Shakur, prosecutor Mark DiGiacomo tells the AP about the accused man.
Davis reportedly previously said he was present when Tupac was shot 27 years ago.
Rapper Tupac Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996 by someone sitting in a passing car. He died in hospital six days later from his injuries.
No one was convicted of the murder, and the case has remained unsolved ever since.

During his career, Shakur sold over 75 million records, was nominated for Grammy Awards six times and managed to create a wide range of headlines before he was brutally murdered at the age of 25.
Earlier this year, police in Nevada searched Davis’ home, outside Las Vegas.
According to the documents, the police will then search for evidence that could link him to the murder. Police are said to have taken computers, a phone and a hard drive from the scene, according to the Associated Press. They also allegedly found handgun ammunition.
Davis, who according to Rolling Stone is a former gang member, reportedly said on the “Death Row Chronicles” podcast that he knows who killed Tupac. He later wrote the book “Compton Street Legend”, in which he again claimed to know who killed the rapper.
