– The family never called me that, but my mother only used it when she yelled at me; “Pia Meriti, now you come!” Tjelta imitated the pronunciation of the Stavanger dialect.

– What is the reason for you having this additional name?
– My mother has the same name as the other first names. Her name is Tun Meriti Tjelta. I think it’s common in Western Norway to “move it”!

We had to ask series creator Katherine Fallen Zinner if there was some kind of hidden homage to Bea’s middle name, which is why she gave the character the same name.
