Fisher Stevens has worked as an actor and director for a number of years, and is currently the director of the ‘Beckham Documentary’.
Earlier this year, the Hollywood star was in Norway while filming the HBO series “Succession,” which stars Norwegian Ellie Harbaugh.
While in Norway, Stevens took the opportunity to pay tribute to one of his great role models – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
– We were in Norway filming the movie “Caliphate,” and I said: “Oh my God, Solskjaer is definitely in Oslo.” So I messaged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and asked him if we could meet, says Stevens in a podcast with TalkSport.
– This is the dream
Fortunately for Stevens, Solskjaer was in the area and agreed to meet.
– I asked him if I could photograph him in Oslo on my day off, and he said yes, Stevens smiled.
He makes no secret that he has great respect for the former Manchester United coach, and admits that he was amazed when he finally met him.
– So I thought: “Oh my God, this is the dream.” What a legend. I love him. He is one of the nicest people in the world and very easy to talk to.
I started a new job
Two months ago, it became known that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a new job.
In an interview with The Athletic newspaper last month, the Christian prodigy confirmed that he works as an observer for the European Football Association (UEFA).
He also revealed in the same interview that he was offered to coach two different Saudi clubs, which he did not name, but he chose to decline.
