DrIt’s a jungle of fashion campaigns, and as the battle for attention gets tougher, it demands more and more attention. But luxury brand Loewe knows how to do it.
They have brought in actress Maggie Smith (88 years old) for their new campaign. Pictures of the 88-year-old man went viral.
In one photo (the campaign was shot by slightly legendary fashion photographer Juergen Teller, journ.anm.) the “Harry Potter” actor is sitting on a colorful sofa and wearing a black-and-white dress.
In another photo, she appeared wearing a brown and green fur coat bearing the brand’s famous logo puzzle-bag.
Unsurprisingly, the internet was on fire, and when creative director Jonathan Anderson shared the photos with his 1 million Instagram followers, praise poured in for the cast.
One wrote: “This is the best thing I’ve ever seen.”
The star (81) is a surprise
Another writes:
“Brilliant. Best ever.”
“Oh my god,” writes a third.
Margaret Natalie “Maggie” Smith is an award-winning British actress, known to many as Professor Minerva McSnorp in the “Harry Potter” films. She has played in more than 60 films and television series, including the hit series “Downton Abbey.”
By the way, Loewe is the most famous brand in the world at the moment, and the Spanish fashion house will open the doors to its first store in Norway later this month.
This is not the first time that the brand, led by creative director Jonathan Anderson, has surprised with unconventional models. Recently, actor Anthony Hopkins was the one who fronted the advertising campaign for the luxury fashion house.
