Jobs, Averoy | The long-term cooperation agreement creates 20 new job opportunities

This was stated by Managing Director Stig Morvold at Delprodukt in a press release.

Delprodukt now provides manufacturing, surface treatment, welding, assembly and other technical services from the new section in Hendholmen in Averøy municipality. In addition to being MacGregor Norway’s main supplier, the division will also serve a number of other customers and markets where Delprodukt already has a presence.

– Establishing in Averøya, collaborating with MacGregor and supplying several new competent colleagues represents a great growth opportunity for the company in the coming years, significantly strengthening the company. Next, we have more than 70 employees and a turnover of approx. 120 million. MacGregor has big growth plans for the business at Hendholmen, and Delprodukt will be an important partner in contributing to this growth, says Murvold in the press release.

The company operates in Hofstad in the municipality of Milhus, has 52 employees and a turnover of approx. 90 million. The company is owned by BEWI Invest.

The roots of MacGregor’s Norwegian business in Hendholmen go back a long way, and the company was formerly known as Triplex. Founded in 1933 by Peder Bjørshol, Triplex has since developed into a leading supplier of lifting equipment, cranes and other deck equipment both nationally and internationally.

Triplex has been acquired by MacGregor Norway AS, which is now part of the Finnish Cargotec group. The Triplex name has been retained, but is now a fully integrated part of MacGregor, representing the group’s product range within nothaulers and other hydraulic surface equipment for the fishing and agricultural industry.
