– It is a very strategic property, says Fritzøe Eiendom Managing Director Petter Falkgård Andersen in a press release.

Tenant with a long history

The deal for Hvidsværmervej 155 was completed on 1 November. Total property area is 19.4 acres. Krydsfinér-Handelen A/S is the tenant of the logistics building. With over 100 years of history to look back on, the company is a well-known and well-run wholesaler of wood panel materials in Denmark.

Krydsvinér-Handelen was purchased earlier this year by Fritzøe Nordic Holding – a construction goods wholesaler with companies in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, which is the sister company of Fritzøe Eiendom. In parallel, Fritzøe Eiendom is working on purchasing the property.

-This was a good solution for both buyer and seller. The seller did not want to stay with the property long-term, and the buyer thought this was a solution that offered great flexibility and expansion opportunities for the tenant in a very exciting area of Copenhagen, says Andersen.

– In addition to the seller Carsten Ritter, we would also like to acknowledge the contribution of the law firm Moalem Weitemeyer, Niras, EY, AGP Advokater, Stensbjerg Consulting, Advodan and EDC Poul ErikBech, as well as our own resources in this transaction.”

In April 2024, a 25,000 square meter warehouse, production and office building for the building materials wholesaler will be ready for occupancy in Nassjo, Sweden.

-We are looking to expand our business beyond Norway’s borders as well. Real estate in central logistics centers in both Denmark and Sweden provides scope for the development of our own organization and our sister companies in Treschow-Fritsøe,” concludes Andersen.
