Hello researcher!

The Immortals Guild welcomes young members to its ranks. If you care about the world, join us as we explore the museum from top to bottom in search of answers.

When you register, you will receive a booklet full of fun activities and interesting facts. Also, each month we will send you your Guardian’s e-newsletter to help you on your journey, as well as invitations to Guild of Immortals events held several times a year.

Seekers who complete their handbook will receive an Immortals Guild Seal and a gift to commemorate their achievement.

Frequently asked questions

How it works?

Researchers will receive a booklet containing five thematic sections. Scholars can obtain five stamps for each section by completing booklet activities or by visiting the museum. Scholars will receive a special sticker for each section they complete.

Remember to sign up to receive the Guild of Immortals monthly newsletter containing activities. Scholars can complete these activities to earn more stamps.

Scholars will also be invited to Guild of Immortals events throughout the year, where they will have the opportunity to learn from a ROM expert and complete museum-related activities.

Researchers who complete their booklet will receive a final poster and a gift to commemorate their achievement.

How do we join this program?

From 26 December 2023, researchers can visit the Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Exhibition for hands-on biodiversity at Level 2 and look for an Exhibition Engagement Coordinator who will give you a brochure. You can then register Connected Even receive the Guild of Immortals monthly newsletter.

Where is the Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Biodiversity Hands-On Exhibition located?

The Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Biodiversity Hands-on Gallery is located on the second floor in the southwest corner of the building.

Where do we collect stamps and stickers?

Visit the Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Biodiversity Hands-on Gallery on the second floor and find the exhibit engagement coordinator. They will stamp your booklet for each day you visit and for each completed activity found in your booklet or activity sheet.

We forgot the proof – can we still get a stamp for the visit?

Yes, visit the Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Hands-on Biodiversity Exhibition at Level 2 and look for the Exhibition Engagement Coordinator who will be able to give you a sticker to take home to put in the booklet.

I didn’t register – can we still participate?

Yes, researchers who have not registered can still participate in the program. Visit the Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Hands-on Biodiversity Exhibition at Level 2 and look for the Exhibition Engagement Coordinator who will have printed copies of the current month’s activity sheet for researchers to complete.

We encourage guardians to register researchers Connected To receive newsletters and invitations to Guild of Immortals events.

Why do you need a date of birth?

We ask for birth date information so we can provide our birthday wishes and to help us better understand the age range of our program scholars. This information will help us design events and activities more appropriately. This information will not be shared with third parties.

Can researchers start a second booklet once they have completed the first?

Yes, researchers can start with a second book if they wish. Additionally, you will continue to receive e-newsletters and be invited to events as long as your family membership is active and in good standing. If you do not wish to receive Guild of Immortals e-newsletters, contact us and we will update your records.

Can researchers continue to collect stamps in a booklet if my membership expires?

Researchers can continue to collect stamps for the visit if they wish. However, Scholars will not be able to receive the final seal and gift, receive e-newsletter activities, or attend events if their family membership has ended.
