– What motivates you almost 20 years after coming to Blackburn?
-Football is incredibly fun. That’s why you keep going. It has nothing to do with finances or anything like that. You do it because you love football and find it incredibly rewarding. Then we’ll see what happens until next year.
He believes Ranheim has something exciting going on under Kåre Ingebrigtsen. The club came in eighth place this season.
Recently it became known that Per Ciljan Skjelbred will move from Rosenborg to Ranheim. Pål André Helland comes as a developer for sports equipment players. Meanwhile, Christian Eigen Rismark changed his status from player to assistant coach.
Bombshell: On my way here
– I thought Bear would spend the new year in Rosenborg. But it’s great for Ranheim to come in and contribute here as well, notes Gamst.
– Christian comes as an assistant, and it seems natural to him. You see it has a bit of Eigen (Nels Arne Eigen’s grandson) in it. Pal, I think I was pretty good at explaining things as a TV expert. It will be very good for young players. He has a high status.
Never happened before
Regarding his position, the 42-year-old man says:
-I have to play a lot this year. It was great fun. When you join a team, you want to help build the culture. If you go somewhere, it’s not for playing. You will help set standards, both on and off the field.
Coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen had great success at Rosenborg from 2014 to 2018. Now the club is in sporting ruin – while optimism is spreading at Ranheim. Then the question is whether Alfred Johansson (33) can turn the tide at Lerkendal.
