Never before have so many Canadians signed a petition: the record of 286,719 signatures was broken by a wide margin when Melissa Outwater and MP Michelle Ferreri called for a vote of no confidence in Justin Trudeau's government and a federal election within 45 days. The campaign ended on Christmas Eve with 386,698 signatures.
Misery is a powerful motivating factor
Ferreri will present the petition in the House of Commons and send with it “a clear message that Canadians have had enough”:
-The facts speak for themselves. Justin Trudeau has ensured record influxes to food stations, homelessness, rising housing prices, the opioid and mental health crisis, a widespread increase in crime, and is responsible for numerous ethical violations.
Petition E4701 asking Justin Trudeau to call an election due to the loss of public trust has ended with 387,000 signatures.
The last official petition on record was a record 250,000.
I have not seen any report from the Canadian media on this topic.

Regarding support for the signature campaign, Ferreri says that “misery is a powerful motivating factor.”
– The petition raises the voices of Canadians who are tired of the misery Trudeau has inflicted on the country and who want a leader and government they can trust. Trust is built on concrete policy, not rhetoric. When a leader does the opposite of what he says or worse, and lets his followers down, he loses trust.
The record was broken by 100,000
With nearly 387,000 signatures, it is the most signed online petition in Canadian history, but while the petition reflects widespread dissatisfaction with the government, it does not require Parliament to act.
The document showed the campaign when it surpassed 225,000 signatures on December 9.
Historic turnout: 225,000 Canadians signed a petition to oust Trudeau
