Earlier this week, there was the premiere of NRK's new series Lett å Hate, in which journalist and TV personality Noman Mubashir (49) explores why so many people hate and look down on minorities.

On that occasion, the stage was set for the premiere at the Vega Cinema in Oslo, where Mubashir's close friend, Vendela Kirsibom (56 years old), was present.
“I think it's a very important series, and it's cruel for people to hate others for things that you should never hate someone for,” Kirsebom tells Dagbladet.
– Terrible pain
The 56-year-old also says that showing hatred and negativity towards queer people, as well as other minorities, is a sign of ignorance.

That's why information and openness are so important, and I think one should go into discussions with an open mind, says Kirsibohm.
– It may be easy to believe that you are completely different, but you really are not. The vast majority of people want to have a good life, to have friends and family close to them, to work and enjoy themselves – you want love and kindness, and that is what is very important.
Kirsebom is from Sweden herself, but currently lives in Norway with her husband, former reality TV personality Peter Bellegarde (43). The two have been married since 2022.
Throughout her career, she has lived in several different countries, but she can say that she has never felt unsafe.
