With warm sand between his toes and blue sea as far as the eye can see, hotel king Peter Stordalen (61 years old) invited his son Henrik (29 years old) and his girlfriend Miriam Molver (28 years old), as well as the beautiful Martha Westin (32 years old) to celebrate Christmas in the islands. Breaks years of tradition
Little was left to chance when the 61-year-old headed to the sunny island, where the family were able to enjoy long, peaceful days on a sunbed – as well as swimming in the crystal clear waters.
In a video posted by the hotel king himself on Instagram, it may appear as if he changed his usual sneakers into flippers for the occasion. In the short clip, you can see him and his girlfriend Martha doing a very short run wearing the rather unusual shoes.

The family holiday was a unique experience by all accounts – and although nothing could be better, there is still no event that tops Stordalen and Co's extravagant Christmas holiday.

Peace – and I got a yes!
Three days before New Year's Eve, Henrik Stordalen knelt down at sunset on a romantic holiday island. There were many well-planned surprises that came to light.
The beach was covered in red rose petals, and the beautiful bouquet was ready – as well as bubbles that would be consumed after the big moment. He had long ago found the ring that was destined to be placed on his lover's finger. Now all that was missing was Yes Beloved.

And yes – it was. The tearful moment was captured on camera, with Peter, Henrik and Miriam sharing the sweet session on their social media.

“Henrik and Maryam. Today the heart beats even stronger. Two kind, beautiful, thoughtful and wise people have decided to get married. They fit together incredibly well. I am so proud and happy, and the whole family is really looking forward to the wedding. Congratulations to you both.”Stordalen Senior wrote on photo-sharing service Instagram, alongside a collage of photos of the poignant moment.
In the 61-year-old's latest photo, you can see him smiling from ear to ear, while embracing his son in a big, warm hug.

The couple shared a joint photo along with three photos. There, the engaged couple gives each other a loving kiss and an affectionate look, as they write “We two forever” in the caption, alongside a white heart emoji.
Peter Stordalen's future daughter-in-law also posted a video from the unforgettable moment – where you can also see the ring she got from her lover Henrik.
