They were also the only ones who were less than four seconds behind Hector at the finish.
Just behind that was a good Norwegian day, with Thea-Louise Stjernesund taking fifth, Ragnhild Moenkel eighth and Kajsa Vikhof-Laye 10th on her World Cup giant slalom debut.

Back in the first round, Giant Slalom Cup leader Federica Brignone made an early exit from start number one.
After Lara Gut Beharmi and Sarah Hector reached the finish line, the exit came to Vlhova who ensured a long break.

When the race started again, Valerie Grenier and Marta Passino were next. While Grenier finished four and a half seconds behind Hector, Passino finished more than eight seconds behind him.
