– We're doomed. Tommy was inseparable from us. Now we ask for peace in our grief, writes his brother Raymond Karlstad in an email to NRK.
The actor is best known for his role as “Proffen” in the 90s hit “Pelle og Proffen”. There were three films based on Ingvar Umpjörnsson's book series; “Death in Oslo S” in 1990, “Poisonous Lies” in 1992 and finally “The Blue Wolves” in 1993.
The cause of death is unknown.
– I have lost one of my best friends
Howard Bucke co-starred with Sandum in the films “Pelle og Proffen” and played the role of “Pelle”. Chandam took the news of his death hard. On his own Facebook profile, Bakke writes: “Thanks for the trip, friend”.
– It's an incredibly sad day. “I've lost one of my best friends of 25 years and someone I shared a completely unique story with since we were teenagers,” Bucke says. NRK He says the news of the death was a shock:
– You should not die at 48. Backey tells the channel that it doesn't make any sense.
Sundam also played the role of Arne in “Lilyhammer” and starred in “Hotel Caesar” and “Fox Kronland”.
– A central vessel
One of Sandom's collaborators on “Lilyhammer” was Steinar Sagan. He describes Chand as “an important character” in a comment VG.
– Tommy is a guy you can trust. He is very sweet, thoughtful and someone who is interested in what you have to say. A main character, quite simply. Sagan tells the newspaper that Tommy is a loving and good boy.
In addition to appearing as a regular actor, Sandham also worked as a voice actor in several films, including “Shrek” and “Donald Duck.”
Adele Antonsson wrote on her own Instagram that the news that Sandam had died was absolutely terrible news to receive.
– An empathetic, interesting and wonderfully sweet and lively, talented and funny guy. I had the (unfortunately very short) pleasure of meeting Tommy. The world is cruel, writes Antonsson.
