There has long been talk of the brokerage industry wanting to challenge Finn.no as a marketplace for buying and selling homes.

Now a solution is looming, but the new company, Bomega, is keeping its cards close to its chest for now.

Bomega's Chairman of the Board of Directors is Grethe Meier, who is CEO of PrivatMegleren.

For now, they won't announce a name for what the portal will be called, says Mayer.

The company's managing director is Rune Paulseth, who was previously CEO of Meta, which owns Facebook in Norway. He will not comment on the matter at this time.

Bomega's board of directors includes Stian Klofta, Managing Director of brokerage Krogsveen, Martin Anmarkrød Kilijeto, Managing Director of Nordvik, and Hedda Caroline Olvennes, Managing Director of Eie.
