In the past, Johnstrom was diagnosed with green eyes and cataracts.

After Johnstrom talked about being affected by shingles, the phone wouldn't go silent. He told VG that many people contact him and tell him they went through the same thing and want to give or get advice.

Shingles causes discomfort and pain such as itching, tingling, and burning. The rash may break out at the same time as the pain or come after it. The illness often begins with mild general symptoms such as headache, dizziness, and feeling ill for two to three days, Norsk Helseinformatikk (NHI) writes.
Shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. You must have previously had chickenpox to get shingles, according to the National Institutes of Health.
Gunstrøm was known for several decades as one of the members of the show group Dizzie Tunes.
The group's leader, Yingvar Nomi, died in November. Nomi lived 79 years.
Dizzie Tunes was founded in 1959 and disbanded in 2001.
