GLASGOW (Nitavisen): The Briton claimed a convincing win in the 3000m on the indoor course in Scotland. After the race, he was the one everyone wanted a piece of, but the 26-year-old remained silent when talking about his Norwegian rival.
Kerr and Jakob Ingebrigtsen have had many regular competitions and are each other's fiercest rivals. The frequent jabs and comments in the media made the duo the most talked about runners in athletics.
And on Saturday evening, the Scot was once again clear in his rhetoric about the Norwegian. However, there was no doubt that Kerr would let the performance speak for itself.
-We practice for hours alone, and finally we have a place where we can express ourselves. We're just having fun. I have nothing against him and we are just trying to win titles for both of us.
– How do you think he reacted when he saw your race today?, VG asks.
Kerr answers: – I don't care much about it, I'm just focusing on myself and hopefully I can keep doing these shows.
The Scot has sent several blows in the direction of his Norwegian rival recently and questions about the rivals' relationship did not take long.
-The only reason I'm screaming out loud while you're listening is because of these shows I'm giving. That's the essence of sports, and with that comes the rivalries. I sit for hours and talk to you, tell my story and enjoy it. People will love it or hate it, but I'm here to perform and bring home medals.

Ingebrigtsen chose not to participate in the competitions in Glasgow due to injury. The Norwegian did not want to risk anything before the next important season.
