1. Motorola DynaTac 8000x
Motorola DynaTAC 8000x owners have won the grand prize. The first mobile phone sold commercially was launched in 1983 and cost around $4,000.
It weighed one kilogram, was 33cm long, and was not intended for a pocket. Today, the device can be sold for up to 8,000 euros if it is in good condition. Of course, provided you find an interested buyer.
In Switzerland, you can bid on Ebay for a Motorola DynaTAC 8000x (from 1983) with original manual, case and charging unit from €85,000. If you want to buy it immediately, you will have to pay 120 thousand euros.
2. iPhone 2G
When Apple launched the first iPhone in 2007, it was the beginning of a new era. From now on, it's no longer just a matter of calling or sending SMS. You already had a small computer in your pocket, and it was very easy to operate.
Technically, the iPhone 2G is pretty much useless today. However, collectors pay a lot of money for first-generation iPhones. The value depends a lot on the condition of the device. For a used iPhone 2G, you get about 150 euros. Unused or original packaged forms can cost up to €2,000 or more.
3. Nokia 8110
The Nokia 8110 phone was launched in 1996, and in 1999 it was popularized by the famous movie “Matrix” and became world famous. The cover in front of the keyboard can be lifted up. Because the Nokia 8110 was curved, it was also called the “Matrix Banana”. Customers had to pay just under €1,000 for the device at the time.

4. Nokia 8800
Phones from the Finnish manufacturer Nokia were popular in the 90s and the beginning of this millennium. Then Apple came out with the first smartphone and started a new era.

5. Motorola 3200
Even this old Motorola 3200 still finds its admirers today: it is the successor to the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x and came on the market about ten years later.
The 3200 weighs half the weight of the previous mobile phone, but is just as unwieldy. The device costs about 100 euros. If the original packaging is still included, it can be sold for between 300 and 800 euros.
