On Saturday afternoon, the stage was set for a local match between AIK Fotball and Brommapojkarna (BP).
But the AIK fans' stands were empty.
Instead of enthusiastic fans, the players were greeted with a banner criticizing BP's management.
“Today's silence is a reminder from AIK to all pumps pumped. Respect union democracy. Members run Swedish football. Not you,” read the banner hung by AIK supporters on the short side of the Tele2 stadium where the match was played.

Former Norwegian footballer Henning Berg took over coaching responsibility for AIK in July last year after being sacked as coach of Paphos FC.
