Emre Can believes every team needs someone like Julian Ryerson.

– It's a little different type. He is a wonderful man and very important to us. I think every team needs a player like him. He doesn't say much, he just works hard. Emre Can says: He's like a pitbull on the pitch.

The former Liverpool player speaks at a press conference on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain awaits the Champions League semi-final match. Ryerson is the only Norwegian remaining in the tournament after Martin Odegaard's Arsenal and Erling Haaland's Manchester City were both eliminated in the previous round.

– The Norwegian player who has probably made the most progress in the last 18 months, and the ultimate example of someone with a strong psychology and belief that you can also succeed internationally, even if the talent is not exceptional, Ståle Solbakken told VG.

Now Heather Ryerson is also receiving praise from her boss.

-I worked with four players from Norway and they were all great in terms of hard work. Julian is probably the best in this regard. He works extremely hard, has no ego and just does the job, says coach Edin Terzic when asked by licensee TV 2.

-I also think it's underrated in terms of technique. He gets the job done for the team, but he also solves difficult situations very well. He's one of those players who never asks “why?” Instead, ask “How much?” It's great and we are very happy to have him in our team,” says Terzic.
