In an interview with Expressen, Frida Carlsson (24) says she has a plan for when her career ends. It's earlier than expected.

Newspaper He writes that the Swedish ski star will stop working as early as the spring of 2027.

– Yes, that's what I told myself. She says: I thought I told you too (media).

Expressen confirms that they have never heard of this before and that the decision, in this case, means that his career will end in just three years.

Carlson will still be able to complete three championships before giving up being a cross country runner.

In 2025, the WC will be held in Trondheim, in 2026 the Olympic Games will be held in Italy, and in 2027, the WC will be held on home soil in the ski town of Falun.

-I like to have “deadlines.” That's when I work best. That's how it's always been. Since I went to school. It's a little for my own motivation. Knowing that what I'm doing won't last forever. I will take care of it completely and do everything I can during these three years.

Carlson has put a great year behind him. It has been listed with ten podium places in the 2023/2024 World Cup finals. Perhaps one of last season's biggest achievements was a commanding win in the five-mile race in Holmenkollen.
