On Saturday morning, Bloomberg wrote that Apple is in the process of finalizing an agreement with successful startup OpenAI, which includes using ChatGPT functionality in Apple's next operating system, iOS 18.
According to people familiar with the matter, who Bloomberg has been in contact with, the two parties are in the process of completing final work on the terms.
According to the site, such a deal would allow Apple to introduce a popular chatbot as part of new AI features it plans to announce in June, when it holds its annual Worldvode developer conference.
Apple is in similar ongoing talks with Alphabet, regarding licensing the company's Gemini chatbot, but those talks are still ongoing.
According to Bloomberg, neither party wants to comment on the agreement.

“We continue to feel very optimistic about our opportunities in generative AI,” Cook said.
-We are making significant investments and look forward to sharing some very exciting things with our customers soon. We believe in the transformative power and promise of AI, and we believe we have advantages that will set us apart in this new era.
