Trending ballerina shoes

FifthSummer is here in full force and it's just getting warmer. If you follow fashion trends, you might know that trends tend to come back again.

Flats and ballet flats are a big trend this spring, according to City Magazine.

What was often associated with pink ballet flats, now comes in many different shapes and colours. There are many variations of the famous shoes and many fashion houses have already created their own version.

– Reflux was one of the first symptoms that appeared that I was suffering from a serious illness

– Everywhere on the platform

According to KK's fashion director, Ida Elise Eide Einarsdottír, this trend is not new.

– Ballet flats were perhaps the most important accessory of the past year. But I don't think the momentum was really there. Because the trend is going to be big this year too. She says she was everywhere on the runway this season.

Einarsdottir believes the biggest reason is ballet, a trend that has left its mark in the fashion world. This trend is also kind of an extension of the coquettish trend we've seen recently, where you put bows on everything.

One of those who jumped on the trend is Queen Marie of Denmark. She and King Frederik make her first state visit to Norway as King and Queen of Denmark.

According to the Instagram account @royalfashionpolice, the ballet shoes she is wearing are beige and black Chanel.

I think it's a safe buy

According to KK's fashion director, fashion's relationship with ballet is not new.

Now this trend is back

Now this trend is back

– The large luxury fashion houses in particular may have been inspired by ballet and also supported it as an art form and not least borrowed from the aesthetics. Just think of Chanel's iconic ballet flats. The Miu Miu copy, which went viral, says and continues:

– This year, the ballet flat is back everywhere again, and comes in a number of different styles from the more classic to the mesh styles of The Row and Alaïa. Yes, of course both the high streets and department stores are full of different styles of ballet shoes. Safe purchase by the way. It's classic and elegant, and soon we can actually use it too – on bare asphalt.

Italian fashion brand Miu Miu really tackled ballet in 2016 with its spring collection. Since then, the fashion brand has brought them back to the runway for its fall 2022 collection — along with slouchy knee-high socks, mini skirts and oversized coats. He writes News.au.

Now I must have

Now “everyone” should have this

Bears the stamp of ballet direction

Earlier this year, we were able to report on the return of a particular trend from the '80s: leg warmers.

Leg warmers also carry the stamp of ballet direction.

“Leg warmers are one of the trends I saw in both the '80s and '90s that are now back in fashion, and it's a trend I've happily thrown myself into,” influencer Nnenna Echem told KK.

Echem said she likes to pair leg warmers with ballet flats or loafers.
