Kevin De Bruyne (32) says huge wages are the thing that is making him consider leaving Manchester City.
Kevin De Bruyne has been at Manchester City since his move from Wolfsburg in 2015. The Belgian has one year left on his contract, but he is now hinting that his future may lie elsewhere than Manchester.
– At my age, you have to be open to everything. You're talking incredible amounts of money in what could be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about it, says De Bruyne to the Belgian HLNabout the possibility of transferring him to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to HLN, Al Hilal and Al Nassr want the Belgian. If he chooses to say yes, he will likely be able to earn around NOK 700 million per year.
-If I play there for two years, I will be able to earn an incredible amount of money. Before that I had to play football for 15 years. Maybe I haven't reached that amount yet. Then you have to think about what that could mean next. “But right now, I haven't had to think about it yet,” he says.
De Bruyne won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups and the Champions League with Manchester City. He is considered one of the best players to have played in England.
