Matthiessen caught fire during a live broadcast on TV 2. Many say this is true.
The pass turned the entire Danish defense onto Haaland. The striker was relentless and reduced to 1-2.
Norway lost 1-3. But Odegaard's pass was a brutal moment at Brøndby.

Soulbakin smiled secretly. But he did not immediately evaluate Odegaard's performance on Danish soil.
When Dagbladet asked the captain about the pass, he replied humbly:
– It was good, that one.
Another journalist followed up by referring to Matthiessen's claim:
– Well, I don't know that, he replied.
– There were many good players here. I won't talk about that. But it was a beautiful goal and a good pass.

In the player exchange in Dagbladet, Odegaard took seven points – as Norway's best man. In Denmark also they are called Ødegaard. The cue sheet indicates the pass – same as Matthiessen.
The pass alone is good enough to name Arsenal's best Norwegian captain, the newspaper reported.
Immediately after the match, most of the players went straight on vacation. This means that the world will not see Odegaard's passes for a few weeks.

The captain says the start was not good against Denmark, but Norway played well.
