Tommy played six international matches and represented the Three Lions in the 1958 World Cup. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends.
Banks was primarily known as a left-back at Bolton Wanderers. He played for the team that beat Manchester United 2-0 in the 1958 FA Cup Final.

According to the BBC, Banks was England's oldest living international. The team did not qualify from the group stage in 1958.
Brazil won. But Frenchman Just Fontaine was the biggest player in the tournament with 13 goals.
Bolton announced that the flag will be flown at half-staff on Friday. It's happening at Toughsheet Community Stadium.
