Newspaper Vigesti It was reported on Saturday that 26-year-old goalkeeper Matija Sarkic had died.
Now the club confirms the death on its own pages.
– We are very sad to say that Matija Sarkic has passed away at the age of 26.
The English-born man manned the cage for Championship club Millwall last season.
He was also Montenegro's preferred goalkeeper in the national team, and had an excellent match against Belgium recently.

He is now said to have lost his life after falling seriously ill during a holiday trip in the Montenegrin city of Budva.
