TV 2 reported that King Harald (87 years old) and Queen Sonja (86 years old) will expand their holiday paradise.

We are talking about Prinsehytta in Sikkilsdalen in Jotunheimen.

The cabin has been extended several times since its construction in 1902. Now another building is coming along, according to documents. TV 2 I was able to reach.

The royal family loves to spend Easter in the prince's cottage.

TV 2 wrote that the castle sent a request to the municipality of Nordfron, where the cabin is located.

The application states that the royal couple wants to replace the current barracks solution with a permanent service house of less than 70 square meters – a type of annex.

Prinsehytta is the private property of the royal couple. The complex of country houses consists of houses with different functions around the courtyard.

Notifying neighbors about the complex house – Prinsehytta» is the title of a document recently sent from the Royal Palace.

The Royal Court wants to make a grass roof and allow plants to grow in the building.

The project is entirely financed with private funds, explains castle director Per Arne Björnstad TV 2.
