Mia Rusten's family is warning of a fake Instagram account claiming to raise money for a seriously injured road racer.
The account is now supposed to be deleted, but it was deleted earlier on Tuesday.

“Someone is pretending to be Mia and me on a fake Instagram account, asking for money to help Mia get back on her feet. Such inquiries are not real,” wrote road racer Suneva's older sister in the message.

Mia Rusten recently rolled down the Messona circuit in Italy in the first ever Women's Road Racing World Championship race. Following the accident, she was placed in an artificial coma and underwent surgery to avoid increased pressure in her head.
