Kjersti Holmen will be buried at Frogner Church in Oslo on Monday 11 October.
Actress Kjersty Holman passed away the night before Sunday, September 26th. She turned 65 years old.
Jølstad’s general manager, Jan Willy Løken, told VG that the family did not want the press to be present in connection with the celebration. But the funeral will be broadcast on Holmens miniside.

The famous actor died in Okereng, in Oslo. She was then ill for a long time, and slept peacefully, according to her NRK.
VG commentator Yngve Kvistad wrote this about Holmen in his book memory words:
-Although it has been nearly ten years since she retired from theater due to illness, Kjersti Holmen’s presence as a stage artist, in television or on the big screen, is so powerful, so pulsatingly present, that she will live forever.

Kjersti Holman has had a long career in both theatre, television and film. She made her debut in the Oslo play “Mannfolk” by Nye Teater in 1980. She has also won a number of prestigious awards, including the Per Aabel Honorary Award and the Aase Bye Scholarship.
